We are at the precipice, the edge – between the fall and the rise, the ebb and the flow, the dark and the dawn. You are the light of the world. You are the answer. You are the elixir. It’s time. It’s time. It’s time. ~Bob Sima

It’s Time Release
Bob Sima continues his musical mission of opening hearts and inspiring a national audience with his 6th studio album, It’s Time. The album is a collection of songs, intentions, mantras, and reveries all supporting the central theme of a ripeness happening within the consciousness of humanity. As Sima quotes, ”I feel like music is such a powerful tool to bring us out of darkness. Keep in mind that I first write these songs for me and then I get to share them with you.” Recorded at Airtime Studios in Bloomington Indiana, It’s Time is a collection of conscientiously well-written songs that sway from rock to folk, from sacred to vulnerable, from emotional to empowering.
The album features a track,”Same Energy”, inspired by Richard Moore, founder of Children in Crossfire, whom Sima met while on tour in Atlanta. Moore was pronounced a “hero” by the Dalai Lama for his humanitarian work, which demonstrates the forgiveness and compassion that he embodies following his own personal story of literally being caught in the crossfire. It’s Time is filled with powerful messages, deep epiphanies, and necessary reminders of the many spiritual aspects of being human that we have forgotten. These musical reminders will speak to every listener exactly where and when they need to be heard. As Martin Luther King quoted in the historic 1963 March on Washington, “We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there “is” such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.”
Sima has a natural ability to musically support the urgency for humanity to step up as each person owns their consciousness, their actions, and their impact on the world. As lyrics from a track titled “Noohra” state, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”
